چکیده

In gauge invariant theories, like Einstein-Maxwell theory, physical observables should be invariant. particular, mass, entropy, angular momentum, electric charge, and their respective chemical potentials, temperature, horizon velocity, potential, which appear in the laws of black hole thermodynamics, usual construction invariance intensive quantities is subtle; here, we remedy this provide a derivation proof zeroth first thermodynamics.

Unified first law of black-hole dynamics and relativistic thermodynamics

A unified first law of black-hole dynamics and relativistic thermodynamics is derived in spherically symmetric general relativity. This equation expresses the gradient of the active gravitational energy E according to the Einstein equation. Projecting the equation along the flow of thermodynamic matter and along the trapping horizon of a black hole yield, respectively, first laws of relativisti...

Black hole thermodynamics from calculations in strongly coupled gauge theory.

We develop an approximation scheme for the quantum mechanics of N D0-branes at finite temperature in the 't Hooft large- N limit. The entropy of the quantum mechanics calculated using this approximation agrees well with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of a ten-dimensional nonextremal black hole with 0-brane charge. This result is in accordance with the duality conjectured by Itzhaki, Maldacena, ...

Generalized Laws of Black Hole Thermodynamics and Quantum Conservation Laws on Hawking Radiation Process

Four classical laws of black hole thermodynamics are extended from exterior (event) horizon to interior (Cauchy) horizon. Especially, the first law of classical thermodynamics for Kerr-Newman black hole (KNBH) is generalized to those in quantum form. Then five quantum conservation laws on the KNBH evaporation effect are derived in virtue of thermodynamical equilibrium conditions. As a by-produc...

Black Hole thermodynamics without a black hole?

In the present paper we consider, using our earlier results, the process of quantum gravitational collapse and argue that there exists the final quantum state when the collapse stops. This state, which can be called the “no-memory state”, reminds the final “no-hair state” of the classical gravitational collapse. Translating the “no-memory state” into classical language we construct the classica...

Geometry of Black Hole Thermodynamics

The Hessian of the entropy function can be thought of as a metric tensor on the state space. In the context of thermodynamical fluctuation theory Ruppeiner has argued that the Riemannian geometry of this metric gives insight into the underlying statistical mechanical system; the claim is supported by numerous examples. We study this geometry for some families of black holes. It is flat for the ...
